Exquisite American 18th Century Tiger Maple Flattop Highboy whose upper and lower case is supported on slender Queen Ann legs, five drawer upper case and the three lower case drawers all have their original hardware except for the small drawer at the bottom which is missing its hardware. The elegance of this chest is seen in its form and the quarter-cut tiger maple with its warm amber color, it was made in Massachusetts, circa 1740-1760. The height is 63 ¾" (Uppercase 35 3/4" wide x 18 ½" deep) (Lower Case 38 ½" wide x 20" deep).
