This Chinese oxblood flambé vase has an ovoid body with a tall slender neck, a rich glaze that has streaks of bluish-lavender, which is more obvious on the neck. There is kiln chip 1/8” on the neck, on the body is a small triangular unglazed spot 3/8” and another smaller one that is positioned lower. The base has a blue under-glaze Qianlong reign mark, and the rim of the base is heavily chipped. It is 9” high.
