Back in the 1960's and 70's, farmers were given these promotional signs when they subscribed to the Prairie Farmer Magazine, and used their insurance. They held up fairly well, but the signs that were placed outside, faded and are no longer readable. This sign was never used outside, but got its bumps and bruises from being in a farm shed for the last 50 years. It's a nice old sign with six, 1/8 inch mounting holes. It is only one sided, because it was intended to be nailed to a fence or telephone pole. It is absolutely authentic.
