Mount Clemens Pottery was a fairly large company that made dinnerware. They made their own lines as well as selling blanks to Stetson China, in Lincoln Illinois. The company employed about 1200 people and had a factory that occupied over 8 acres ( about 350,000 sq feet). Petalware was one of the companies' most popular lines and although not plentiful, it can be found. Their solid, bright colors are similar to the ever popular Fiesta china, made by Homer Laughlin.
