Some of the marigolds in carnival glass can be dull or even washed out. This marigold is absolutely exceptional. The color is rich and the pattern, especially on the inside, is very sharp. Perhaps this is one of the first bowls made with the Leaf Chain pattern mold. The rim is crimped and has hand-formed ruffled edge....but it is really the color that makes this bowl stand out from others.
