AGE: This clay was first used in 1955. The mark dates this tumbler from 1955 to 1980.
This simple, but stylized tumbler was made by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma. This is their Brown Satin glaze over the red Sapulpa clay with the additional green colors. The Frankoma Pottery Company closed in 2010 and assets of the company, including the remaining pottery on hand, were sold at auction to satisfy lenders in 2011.
