The Gold Anchor period of Chelsea was from 1756 - 1759. It was also found on Derby pottery from 1769 - 1775 that was painted in Chelsea. But these would not have been marked "Germany".
Unfortunately the gold anchor was the most copied of the different Chelsea marks. Gold couldn't take the high kiln temperatures, so the mark had to be applied on top of the glaze and this made it simple for anyone wanting to copy the mark. These were probably made during the 1930's and meant to be confused with Derby or Chelsea. Never-the-less these two figurines are loaded with nice detail and are marked (also in gold) "Germany." Each is 3 & 1/2 inches tall and in excellent condition.
