This lovely Art Deco set was made between 1930 and 1937. The patent for the "ornamental chrome holders" was received in 1932 and assigned to Louis Farber. The holders were designed so they could be detatched, and the glass could then be cleaned. The Farber Bros. then joined forces with the Cambridge Glass Company, Cambridge Ohio, to manufacture and distribute this extremely popular line. The line, which was referred to as #3400 Amber in the "Tally Ho" pattern was made in 6 different colors....Cobalt Blue, Ruby Red, Clear, Amethyst, Green and Amber. The decanter and glasses are in the amber color. This decanter is the 32 ounce size and each of the glasses is 2 & 1/4 inches tall. All pieces are in excellent original condition. Each of the pieces is clearly marked with the Farber Bros. logo and patent numbers.
