The "Fairy Villa" Flow Blue pattern was made with some variations by several manufacturers. This particular pitcher is supported by a pedestal and is an intermediate size. It is about 5 inches tall and 6 & 1/2 inches in overall length (tip of spout to edge of handle)...so it's difficult to know what it was used for. It seems too small for milk and too large for cream. It could have been used for gravy but the shape is a little unusual for that. It's a nice old pitcher, but the original clay had impurities which discolored the body. The pitcher is unmarked, and the pattern is a very nice flow blue. The pattern suggests a boy standing on the edge of a pond watching a sail boat which is in the distance. There is only one very small glaze "pop" on the base, otherwise the condition is excellent.
