Originally these soldiers were part of a Pop Gun or Cork Gun game called "Soldiers of Fortune" They came with the pop gun in an entire set of miscellaneous soldiers.
These 2 "well played with" vintage Marx toy soldiers were extremely popular during the 1930's. Even though both soldiers have been played with and are missing paint, they still offer a nice reflection of a bygone era. They were simple stampings that were lithographed with a variety of colors and they were the pride of many children.
