Northwood Glass made this lovely footed rosebowl during the late 1800's or early 1900's. It was the catalog number 562 and referred to as the Opal Open. It listed for $.98 at the time. The rosebowl featured a beautiful and complicated open stem with opalescent ruffled top and beaded panels. In later years Dugan made a similar piece. This rose bowl is 5 and 1/2 inches tall and it is in excellent condition...there are no chips or cracks.
