Made sometime between 1890 and 1912, this rare pattern flow blue butter pat was a product of J & G Meakin, Hanley England. It features a gently scalloped rim with a delicately embossed edge. The flow blue pattern resembles pretty blue flowers that are grown from a horseshoe shaped vine. There is a very small amount of usage wear, but the butter pat is free of cracks or chips.
