Published by A. Flanagan Company of Chicago in 1914, which makes it the third edition. It's hardcover in a 5 1/4 by 6 1/2 inch format. It contains 278 pages and it's in collectable, very good condition. The book is from the days before dust jackets. It is printed on wonderful high quality gloss paper of the day and the binding is very good, but discolored condition. The hinges are slightly weak.
The author stated this book "Is a history of the state from the earliest records to the present time." This book is an accurate history up until the early 1900's. There are several nice illustrations through out the book, some which are photographs, and some which are drawings.
