This sweet child is 27” tall and has a very expressive face with almost a slight smile. She has open and close eyes with painted upper and lower lashes and feathered brows. Her mouth is open with upper teeth and rosy cheeks with pierced ears. He socket head has no damage. The head is incised “Germany, Heinrich Handwerck, Halbig”. She wears a fine cotton antique dress with a slip and pantaloons. Her original body is stamped in red “Heinrich Handwerck” and has no repairs but does have some surface paint flaking at the neck of the torso. Her wig is a nice replacement.
