These Dolls are Handmade and I have never known who made them they have no markings that I could find to find out who made them. They won a Premium fair ribbon in Carthage Fair in Ohio. FDR in in a rocking Chair and does have a Cane. They are very interesting and do look like the couple. especially Eleanor. She is about 18 inches tall and he in the chair is about 14 inches high. I do not know the medium used for their heads. Eleanor is wearing a dress that looks like her 3rd inauguration dress.
They do show wear and age but are in very good condition. FDR wears a suit and has a felt hat. His shoes are leather. Eleanor wears a great hat and has gloves attached to her wrist and the legs are wrapped in nylon . Her formal dress is satin.
Please look at their pictures and if anyone has information on them let me know. They look like they still belong in a museum.
