This is a luscious, vintage EUGENE set with a single strand, crystal bead choker necklace with signed, matching earrings. The 16" crystal bead necklace features beautiful hues of purples and blues, some with an aurora borealis coating, that are slightly graduated size with a 2.5" extender and a J hook closure.
The matching clip crystal bead earrings are 1 1/2" long and 7/8" wide. Three of the earring beads have lavender rhinestone toppers and a silver tone filigree setting. The ends of the necklace and the earrings each feature a clear, rectangular rhinestone.
Condition: In general, crystals hold up well through the decades, although those with an aurora borealis coating are tending to get scratched. The clear rhinestones on the earrings now look more "smokey" than clear. This is a gorgeous, and clearly vintage necklace with earrings: please review all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
Marks: Only the clips of the earrings are signed "EUGENE" - the necklace is a clear match in terms of stone colors and design. This is a simpler design that some of his others, which tend to reflect his ornate "Miriam Haskell" designs, from his years working for her.
