This Kay Denning bracelet and earring set features red and blue fused glass blotches on a white enamel background. The spring back clip earrings repeat one red fused glass oval on the white enamel base. Kay Denning has a distinctive style - her designs in red, white and blue have such a patriotic flair!
Measurements: The bracelet is 6.75 inches long by .75 inches wide with a fold over clasp. The earrings are 3/4 inch tall by 5/8 inch wide with a spring back clips.
Condition: The set is in excellent condition. This set came, along with 8 more pieces, from a single estate, and all the pieces still have their inventory numbers glued on the back - it looks as if they were never worn. Please use the zoom feature to review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
Marks: The bracelet is signed "DENNING" on the back side; the earrings are not signed but are clearly a match. Kay Denning created her own designs and sold them in retail stores from the mid 1950s through the 1970s. She also exhibited her enamel art in the Museum of Contemporary Crafts NYC and the Philadelphia Art Alliance. I first became aware of her work just a couple years ago, and the ones in my personal collection are among my "go to" pieces.
