This vintage Colco bracelet features the five Asian/Chinese Star Gods or Fu Lu Shou, representing happiness, prosperity, status, authority, health and longevity. The faux ivory Chinese figures are made from some type of heavy plastic or resin. Each figure is encased in a metal bamboo "frame." The full set of this Colco parure is shown on page 232 of Marcia Sparkles Brown's "Unsigned Beauties of Costume Jewelry".
Measurements; The bracelet is 7.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide with a fold over clasp.
Condition: The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition. There is some wear to gold tone plating of the bracelet links due to rubbing together. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an essential part of the description.
Marks: It is stamped "Colco" on the back side. It appears that this design (which includes a necklace, earrings and bracelet when found as a parure) was one of only a few that they made and that it comes it both signed and unsigned versions.
International Customers: Expect delays for USPS First Class Packages. If you don't see your country listed, contact me. If I can insure it, I can ship it.
