Very pretty English Edwardian period mahogany footed tray with silver plated mounts. This style is uncommon and a bit more feminine than many you're likely to come across. The wide silver rim is decorated with an applied floral and foliate edge detail. The center of the tray features a blank plaque made of sterling silver hallmarked for Deykin & Harrison of Birmingham, England 1896. The tray is in very good condition. No obvious plate wear, minor signs of use. The finish on the mahogany center shows wear around the edge and in the center around the plaque from polishing. There is a age split that extends about 2" in from one end. Small splits near screws on the back. Plenty large enough to hold cocktails, coffee or use it on the vanity to hold perfume bottles or jars. It measures 22" over the handles, 15.25" wide and 2.5" from table to rim.
Layaway available for full priced items over $500.
