This wonderfully carved Indian Hindu temple or temple chariot fragment depicts Krishna playing the flute along side his cow. This piece was made in the 19th, possibly 18th century. The many years of blowing wind and sand have softened the details and eroded the wood. This is most noticeable on the back of the carving. It is currently mounted to a custom wooden base. This carving is in very good condition with expected wear and attractive color. It stands about 19.5" tall and is about 7" at the widest point.
