1930s doll clothing includes five dresses and one bonnet. Described beginning with pink dress on left in photo and continuing clockwise:
Pink chambray is hand stitched and has lace trim at collar and sleeves. It is wide and gathered and would fit a baby doll or toddler doll. Dress measures 4-1/2 inches long at center front and has a neck opening of 4-1/2 inches. Very loose fitting for a chubby baby or toddler doll.
Woven cotton open-work stripe dress with flocked flowers throughout has a yoke top and flared sleeves. The neckline and sleeves have bound edges, as does the opening in the back. It is beautifully made and may be a factory piece. Dress measures 7-1/4 inches long, 4 inches across the shoulders between the sleeve seams. Very loosely fitted for a chubby baby or toddler doll or even a compo child doll. Excellent condition.
White fine cotton lawn dress or chemise with scalloped lade edging at neck, cuffs, and hem. Beautifully made with French seams and a gold silk ribbon at neck edge. Measurements: 6-3/4 inches long, 12 inches around the chest just under the arms. Excellent condition.
Tiny white dress or top made of a dimity fabric with a very soft feel. It has a gathered neckline with lace trim and a little pink flower at the neck and snap closure in back. Measurements: 4 inches long, 8-1/2 inches around the chest just under the arms, and neck opening of 3 inches. Excellent condition with a loose snap closure.
Factory pink dotted dress and matching hat that may have been a romper set (no pants). Dress measures 6-1/4 inches long and neck opening is 6 inches around. This has light yellowing from storage that should soak out.
