We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful and stunning empire period banquet table that comes with six 11 inch factory leaves in the original carrying case and two of the leaves have aprons. The table when closed is 54 inches around and 30.25 inches tall. It has a platform foot pedestal base with a center leg to add durability and stability to the table when opened. Someone refinished this years ago in a multi-coat hand rubbed finish that almost looks like a shellac or French polish. The table is in pretty nice shape. If you are interested in having it refinished, we can send you a quote if you email us your intent. It is a beautiful table that dates from the 1870s to 1880s. It has some history having been in Germany and Australia and it just came out of New Hampshire. It belonged to a service person and the estate sold it to us. The family had this table appraised in Australia and the appraisal they showed me was for $20,000.00. I am not saying that is real, but I saw the appraisal with my own two eyes. It is in a rich reddish brown stain finish with a high gloss sheen on it. Shipping starts at $425 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
