We are pleased to be offering today this oak standard size filing cabinet that has all the handles and index card holders. It is missing one brass knob on the bottom drawer. It has panel sides and an unfinished back that has some of the veneer top missing but it goes up against the wall so not seen. It is tiger sawn oak throughout. It is a great file cabinet from the early 1890s to 1900s. The overall size is 17.5 inches wide, 28 inches deep and 53 inches tall. The inside dimensions for the drawers are 12 inches wide on the inside, 24 inches deep and the face of the drawer is 10.5 inches high. It has the adjustable supports on the inside, but most people put hanging files in this type of file cabinet. It shows minor wear here and there. It has the original label on the top saying it was sold by the Macy Morris Company out of Boston Massachusetts.
