An early and very decorative 19th century English hand-cut brass wall pocket with stylized bird motif and attractive pierced, scalloped skirt.
This charming piece measures approximately 7" high by 9 1/4" wide by 1 7/8" deep and is in very, very good undamaged condition. There are no splits, dents, deep scratches or restorations. As mentioned, it was made from a good quality, heavy gauge brass. The pocket has been hand-polished in the English tradition.
