A wonderful set of four circa 1840 hand-blown and cut colorless glass finger bowls. The bowls feature a cut honeycomb pattern around the lower part of the bowl and an applied band cut with concentric rings and an 'x' design around the midsection.
These beautiful bowls measure 3 1/8" high by 4 1/4" in diameter across the opening. All four are in very good undamaged condition. There are no chips, cracks or regrinds. They have a ground pontil, as per photo, and they 'ring like a bell' when tapped. The glass has a wonderful clarity and brilliance.
Please note, these bowls are colorless glass, there is no grey shading as in the photos.
