A very charming 19th century English porcelain plate produced by T.C. Brown, Westhead, Moore & Co., 'manufacturers of high grade earthenware and porcelain', at Cauldon Place, Stoke-Upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England, 1856 to 1904. This plate, with scalloped edge, features a colorful turkey motif with grain stalks meandering halfway around one side.
The piece measures 9 1/4" in diameter and is in very, very good condition. There are no cracks, chips or restorations and there is no crazing or staining. It is marked with a British Design Registration Number for 1887 and a faint impressed company mark.
The plates pictured with this one are also available in our shop, as are the additional pieces pictured in the last photo. Such unusual and delightful motives.
