Wonderful Victorian Copper Culinary Mould Mold
A fine 19th century round copper culinary mould, or mold, marked 'W.Hill & Son Finchley Rd' on one side and 'Smith & Mathews S. High St. Bloomsbury W.C.' on the other.
This piece stands 4 3/4" high and measures 5 5/8" in diameter. It is a heavy gauge copper and weighs a little over one pound. The mould is in very, very good condition, showing only expected wear. There are no dents, breaks, cracks or restorations and there are no deep scratches or gouges. It is slightly out of round. The copper has a lovely patina and beautiful polished shine in the English tradition.
