Nothing more flattering than vintage Laura Ashley. I visited the Laura Ashley store by me at least once a month in the 80's. Laura figured that women looked their best in the Edwardian Era, and I agree.

I did not buy this dress brand new, I have been hunting down Laura Ashley for decades now. I won't give up all my dresses, but I can let go of a few. Stay tuned. I have several of this pattern. They were all originally full length. I shortened them all to tea length, easier to wear everyday and more flattering. It's not the maxi era anymore.

A graceful V-neck in back and a gentle sweetheart neckline in front, fitted bodice and piping at the waist, and the waist dips in front, so elegant. Zips all the way down the back. In excellent condition, no problems, the cotton is a sturdy, medium weight. It has a pocket!

I did alter the fit on this, I took tucks at the shoulders and the side seams. It can all be taken out. Bust 38 inches, waist 33 inches, hips free, length shoulder to hem 47 inches. This skirt is so full, it makes an excellent dancing skirt, contra dance, square dance, jitterbug, anything where you get to twirl.
