Designer jacket, wool & cotton, hand made, unique Stajan.
If you bought this jacket brand new, and you are familiar with Paul Stajan, you know you’d pay upwards of 1000€, plus the trip to Europe. This jacket is beautifully designed, meticulously sewn, and a little work of art.
Gray wool, trimed with red and gold cord piping, blue and white checked cotton and red corduroy collar, military style, pewter buttons. It is military in overall appearance, softened by the use of unexpected fabrics. Fully lined, cuff-able sleeves with real buttonholes.
Hand made in Graz, Austria, impeccable fit and tailoring. Very lightly worn, if at all. It is marked as a size 44, flat measurement of the bust is 42 inches and the jacked is 25 inches long from shoulder to hem. No holes, stains or smells. The extra buttons are still with the jacket.
Wear it for an extra special occasion or if you need to stand out from the crowd in the most stylish and unique fashion.
Paul Stajan, the Austrian artist and designer. Each piece from one of his collections is a one off masterpiece and he excels at the military style. The jacket is from an early collection based on Archduke Johan of Austria. The jacket has many hints of military design, during the Napoleonic Wars, Johan was given command of the Austrian army in September 1800, despite his personal reluctance to assume the position. He showed personal bravery in the War of the Second Coalition, but his troops were crushed at the Battle of Hohenlinden.
