Souvenir, real photographs of the Chicago World's Fair.
They are 25 different photographs, some of the fair and some of Chicago land marks. They come in a small package, which could have been mailed at that time.
The black and white photos are in great shape, you can see the condition of the package in the photos, it is somewhat worn.
The photos measure 2 & 3/4" by 1 & 3/4". The pack was given to Marian Swanson.
Many exhibits from the fair are pictured, some that I didn't know existed. Admiral Byrd's South Pole Ship was there! Also pictured, Navy Pier, the museums, Buckingham Fountain, the Chicago Night Skyline is my favorite, with a picture of the beacon all lit up on top of the Palmolive building. It was said (at the time) that you could read a book by the light of the beacon 60 miles away.
