Salt & pepper shakers from the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago. Vintage Art Deco.
These were made by Owens-Illinois glass company and the number on the bottom indicates they came from the Huntington, WV plant. They are in great shape, no chips or cracks. The lids screw on and off easily and they are not cracked, but could use a bit of cleaning. The glass states, A Century of Progress Chicago 1933. Still reads well, just a bit of paint missing on the stripes.
They measure 3 & 1/4 inches tall. Great memorabilia from the Chicago fair.
