Vintage silk nightgown and jacket.
This invokes thoughts of Old Hollywood Glam... Pictures to not do it justice, but my model is not small enough.
It is a pale yellow, sort of a net lace with small polka dots, not really dotted swiss, it is much, much finer, softer and more open. It it cut on the bias and floats over the silk lining. The bodice is quite fitted, beautiful "V" neckline echoed in the waist detail in front. The side placket has snaps and a hook. The lining is completely finished, hemmed trim and french seams.
Bust 33" Waist 28" Hips 36" Length from shoulder to hem, 59". The lining is hemmed, the lacey overlay is not. Shoulder to waist 15". It is clean and ready to wear! Excellent condition. Movie Star glamour! Just look at the wiggly wire stays in the collar of the jacket, such great hand work, that collar stands up like an Elizabethan ruffled collar! A bridal worthy nightgown.
This is sort of small (aren't they all?) but not impossibly small and my model has very wide shoulders that she refuses to move! You will just have to imagine this on a body rather than the hanger. At least she could model the ruffled bed jacket.
