Art Deco Sterling bracelet.
Yes, I have a weakness for anything Deco, especially jewelry and especially the sparklers. A flapper would have layered these the length of her arm!
It is stamped sterling, The large, sapphire blue, art glass stone in the center is in a open backed setting. The clear paste stones look like the real thing, they are all in place and sparkling, just a couple have grayed at bit, but that only adds to the mysterious history of this vintage beauty.
It is unusual to find a sterling silver Art Deco bangle with the open work or filigree. The link bracelets and clampers are much more common. It is very slightly oval, 2 & 1/2" in diameter in most places, a tad bit bigger here and there, so it will fit most women.
If you are a Deco fanatic, you won't want to pass this up...it's the bees knees!
