American sterling silver souvenir citrus spoon made by William B. Durgin Co. for the Mission of San Gabriel. Patented 1891. The handle features embossed floral decorations. The bowl features an embossed image of the San Gabriel Mission. Inscribed "MISSION OF SAN GABRIEL ERECTED 1771" in ornate period block raised script. Inscribed "Sept. 2 1892." in ornate period script on the back of the handle.
This attractive souvenir citrus spoon measures 5 7/8" long and weighs 28g.
