American coin silver mustard ladle in a Sheaf of Wheat pattern by Benjamin and Samuel Demilt of New York City. c.1825.
This scarce and desirable ladle has excellent pattern detail and is 5 1/8" long, weighing 14 grams.
The front of the handle has an ornate, period script monogram: JGR. Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
