Irish sterling silver gravy ladle in the fiddle reverse tipt pattern with a rat-tail on the back of the bowl. On the front of the handle, there is an engraved Wild Boar crest. Made by Richard Whitford, Dublin, 1813. Retailed by Matthew West.

This handsome ladle is 7 3/8" long and weighs 63.5 grams or 2 ozs Troy.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.

The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
