This beautiful gold filled engine turned heart shaped locket was made in the 1930s by the La Mode company. The front of the locket has a pattern of thick and thin lines with a center panel surrounded by rose gold colored flowers. The rectangular panel has the initials CBS engraved in it. The back has a wonderful circular pattern covering the entire surface. The inside of the locket is complete with the heart shaped frames and celluloid, along with the black and white photograph of young man standing in front of a hedge.
A nice size, it measures 1 1/8 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches tall and 1 5/8 inches tall with the bail.
The locket is in good vintage condition, although there are slight scratches due to age and wear.
The inside and the decorative bail are stamped 1/20 12K G. F. La Mode.
