Fine Meiji period bronze bowl or vase signed by the artist Higashi Murada or Murata. This piece features the mon of the Tokugawa
Shogunate family crest [ three hollyhock leaves inside a circle] decoration around the top.
Very nice patina with some minor oxidization . Difficult to date exactly. Interior shows signs of water use and may have had a frog and used for Ikebana.
