All bakelite bangles and bakelite jewelry are guaranteed to be authentic vintage bakelite pieces. Each piece of bakelite has been tested using either simichrome, 409, bakelite test pads and/or the hot water test. The application of the hot water test will be used to confirm black bakelite pieces. As a service to you as a customer, I will not sell fakelites (fake bakelite), reworked or old stock newly cut bakelite pieces.

Shipping, Handling, Insurance Policy

*Buyer pays for shipping and possibly handling fees when needed. * * Items will either be shipped USPS Ground Advantage (old First Class) or USPS Priority Mail . You would need to indicate you prefer USPS Priority Mail. There may be additional costs for USPS Priority Mail. If no request is made you will be invoiced for the method I feel is most appropriate and most economical. * Items are generally shipped with 48 hrs. of receipt of payment from Paypal or after the receipt of a money order. Personal checks must be drawn on a US bank and require clearing prior to the item being shipped. *INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING* I will ship to Europe and the UK via a service called USPS International 1st Class Mail. The charges are quite reasonable and items have been arriving quickly. However, insurance is not available nor is tracking. If you would like insurance, there are other ways to ship insured but the price begins at about $20. Email before purchasing and I will give you a shipping quote. THERE ARE LIMITED COUNTRIES TO WHICH I WILL SHIP SO PLEASE ASK BEFORE PURCHASING. It's been my experience that sometimes items shipped overseas can be held up in customs for several weeks. Not always, just sometimes, therefore, it is impossible to determine how long the item will take to get to you. If you do purchase from outside the US, I will do everything to make sure the package arrives safely but please be prepared for the possibility that your purchase may be held up in customs. I love Italy but the post office has a bad reputation so sorry if you are living in Italy, I cannot ship to you. There are other countries I will not ship to as well due to the lack of trust of the postal system which has nothing to do with it's citizens! So please...ask first. *POLICY ON PENDING ORDERS I can only hold pending orders for 48 hrs. If there is no communication or payment. The pending status will be removed and the item returned to the store. Either notify me by paying by Paypal or let me know a check/mo is in route.
