Very well made two candle bulb sconces with original finish of silver or nickel plate over solid cast brass fixtures. The finish has that desirable patina that only comes with years of service. Design and style points to a European influence.
Front and center is a stylized Falcon, possibly Germanic in origin. Behind the falcon is a band of berries and leaves supported by a trefoil arch. Octagon back plate again has the detailing of leaves, including the mounting nut. Operational new switch painted to match body of fixture. At the bottom of the back plate looks to be stylized tail feathers. At the bottom of the long "tail" again is the stylized leaf motif.
