This pair of single bulb Spanish Revival wall sconces have been restored to their original pewter colored finish. The red back breast plate is also found on original examples of this sconce we have seen over the years. The red really sets off the pewter look and is one of the defining colors of the revival era, also referred to as the romantic era. Made of cast aluminum and most likely from the Virden Co. of Cincinnati.
