These sconces were said to have been salvaged several years ago from an old Vermont church.
Made of durable and sturdy cast iron. These have the cruciform and architectural details seen in many of the great cathedrals of Europe; basilica, naive, aisles, and apse. These details are best seen in the image without the light bulbs.
Refinished in the antique golden color still visible on parts of the unrestored sconces.
There are also 3 of this sconce with two arms and bulbs instead of the single arm, single bulb.
