At 14 inches across it is an imposing fixture. The Art Deco inspired stylized tropical leaves have been painted and fired on in colors of light tan and soft orange against the white milk glass glass. The crystal bottom glass is held in place by a polished nickel band which tightens around the two pieces holding them securely in place. The bottom crystal designed to light up the area underneath the globe. A wonderful addition to a kitchen or bath that has complimentary colors.
Just the two piece globe is 11 inches tall. 250 watt max.
Total drop from ceiling to bottom of glass as shown is 21 inches. The drop can be adjusted. We also have other options for the fitter, brushed metal, brass, and painted.
It is particularly important with any vintage or antique item you are considering buying over the internet that you be able to see enlarged images of the item, . Dealers know is that defects, uneven color, or poor workmanship are easily hidden by small or unfocused images, or distorted images. In the case of lighting, you should see images with the fixture lit where the fixture and the shades can be seen in their correct color. This cannot be stressed enough, you need to know exactly what you are getting and no a mount of verbiage (overabundance or superfluity of words, as demonstrated here) of how great their product is can replace sharp, large images. Not showing larger, clear images is an apology for poor quality and poor service.
