1930s fixture in excellent condition, signed Porcelier. Both the porcelain and the shades are great with no noticeable chips and no cracks. The shades have some wonderful raised Art Deco design which can be appreciated with or without the lights on. Holds 2 light bulbs with a 75 watt max recommended for each side.
Only possible drawback is some of the hand painted gold detailing has worn off, which is not uncommon.
This would be a perfect fixture in those areas where code requires a completely covered bulb.
With only a 5 inch drop, again perfect for a low ceiling Bungalow or cottage.
It is 13 1/8 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide.
*It is often said about online sellers that the quality of their online presence (images, lighting, content, clarity, layout, and background) are a very good indication of the quality of merchandise and customer support you will receive. Our type of fixtures should be shown with lights both on and off and in their correct orientation, for example a ceiling fixture should be shown hanging from a ceiling, not on the floor or rug, same as a wall fixture. This is the only way to see what the fixture will actually look like.
