This Majolica plate is from Luneville, France made by Keller & Guerin between 1880 and 1890. The asparagus plate shows the artichoke flowers lying on top of the colorful asparagus. The well is also in the shape of an artichoke flower. The colors are done in different colors of greens and purples. The plate measures 9" wide. It is in fine condition with no chips or cracks. There is a small flaw on the front of the plate, probably dating to manufacture, that has the right color and is smooth glazed over.
