Found in France, this lace making pillow still has the lace attached. It also has the pattern and pins and some bobbins.
The pillow has a wooden frame that is covered in burlap. There are remnants of a green checked oilcloth that was used a top covering. The roller, that allows the lace maker to turn the pattern, still works. I would date the pillow as circa 1900-10.
Size: 11" x 14"
A great addition to use in a display of a collection of antique lace.
