Fabulous Old 19th c. French Store Stock! I purchased a group of these berets in the 1990's when I was living in Paris, France. They were never used. It is made of a white wool. The original brown tissue paper packing material from the factory is still present.

This one is perfect for a large Jumeau, Steiner, etc. The grosgrain ribbon trim is further embellished with "Mignon" which means "cute" in French.

The original paper label that designates the size as 47 centimeters is still attached. That is the inside circumference of the hat. The diameter of the outside of the hat is 8".

Condition is very good with some surface dust,

Doesn't your favorite deserve a present?
