Rare 14" AM 252 Character Baby Girl Open Closed Mouth
A 14" Armand Marseille 252 character girl with open closed mouth, little almond shaped brown sleep eyes, original lid finish, fine painted upper and lower lashes, pale Tosca painted short arched brows and a shallow chin dimple. Open closed mouth has molded tongue.
Head is incised 252 GP o Germany A 1 M D.R.C.M. 248
Doll retains her original blond mohair wig and domed cardboard pate.
Condition: her bisque has no chips cracks or hairlines, her eyes in original setting, size of her eyes little differently cut making her look like a baby, she is on her on a good quality fully jointed baby body with original finish and some wear, all fingers are intact.
Doll has old white dress, full slip and vintage hand crocheted bonnet.
A harder to find AM mold number with original wig & pate, she has been appropriately dressed and ready for display. Doll was made by the Armand Marseilles Company in Germany circa 1900’s
