Mechanical French bisque "Eden Bebe Qui Marche Seul" by Fleischmann & Blodel SFBJ in original box, came from estate of Huguette Clark
24" (61 cm.) Happy Face bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes in original factory setting, mohair lashes, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, French composition and wooden body with jointing at shoulders and hips, one-piece torso and legs, brass under-feet with inbuilt rollers. When mechanism in torso is wound (turn 3 times), the doll moves forward on hidden roller feet, while crying two words "mama-papa". Excellent condition, key replacement. The doll is presented in original (worn) wooden box with paper label having illustration of child playing the doll. Fleischmann & Blodel, circa 1895.

Condition: Her bisque excellent with no chips cracks or restorations, original mohair wig, her body retain original finish only hands repainted, she is in good working condition (please, check YouTube https://youtu.be/040Vot6C-50 )
She came from estate of Huguette Clark and we spend a lot of time to make her walk and say Mama Papa, she has very intricate mechanism inside.
She wears her original leather shoes, original chemise, and couture cotton contemporary dress.

Eden Bébé Dolls - History
The German firm of Fleischmann & Bloedel was formed in 1873, and by 1890 had registered the Eden trademark for dolls. They aggressively pursued the French market and soon were the primary importers of dolls from Germany to France. Dolls were exported to the U.S. as well.
The company put a lot of effort into mechanical innovations. They registered several design patents for walking and talking dolls in the 1890s. These improvements were used on Eden Bébé dolls.
In 1899, the company became part of the consortium of French toy companies known as S.F.B.J., with Salomon Fleischmann as director
