Ketcham and McDougall antique folding eyeglasses with retractable pin with working chain. Dated on the back Feb 24 1909 and April 28 1910. New York. Pat Pending. I do not know what the metal is of the pin.it looks black on the front and gold/ copper color on the back. I have researched and have found them if 14 Karate gold to copper. The folding eye glasses came with the pin. It may be original. I do not see any marks on the glasses. The chain works fine and is about 17 inches long not counting the glasses or the pin itself. Great collectible. The pin was used for ladies who wanted to carry something with them without a purse. They could attach glasses, keys, a pen, or numerous other things. Hard to find together like this.
